How does the listing differ from TradeMatch Pro?
They are separate products. The Directory Listing (£9.99/mo) gets your storefront onto /find-a-trade and powers customer messaging. TradeMatch Pro (£29/mo) unlocks the Advanced Analytics tab inside your tradesperson dashboard — bid win-rate, conversion funnel, lead-source attribution. You can buy one, both, or neither. Most vendors start with Listing; Pro is the upgrade once you have enough lead volume to optimise.
What does the £9.99 actually pay for?
Hosting your storefront (page, photos, gallery, FAQ), inclusion in /find-a-trade search results, customer-direct messaging routed to your existing TradeMatch inbox, and the Stripe billing rails. Stripe takes its standard processing fee out of our end — your £9.99 is net of that.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. The Stripe billing portal (linked from your dashboard) cancels at the end of the current period. Your storefront stays live until period_end then drops out of the directory. No exit fees, no minimum term.
How do I get featured?
Featured slots rotate based on (a) rating + review count, (b) response time, (c) recent activity, and (d) listing status. There's no pay-to-win — a 4.9★ vendor with a 1h reply time on a £9.99 listing will out-rank a 4.6★ vendor on a £29 listing. We publish the algorithm in our docs.
Is there a contract?
No. Month-to-month or year-to-year, both auto-renew, both cancellable any time via the Stripe billing portal. Annual gets you a 20% discount in exchange for paying upfront.
What if I don't get any leads?
Listing visibility, message volume and reply rate all show in your dashboard. If a storefront isn't getting traction we can review the page (photos, copy, services list) — most under-performing storefronts are missing photos or have a thin "About" section. We don't guarantee leads — that depends on demand in your trade and area — but we do guarantee you can cancel and walk away the moment it stops working for you.
